As a Finimize newsletter writer, you’ll team up with our head of content, analysts, and editors to deliver a daily newsletter to one of the biggest financial audiences in the world, reaching over a million people. Wearing your analyst hat, you’ll help readers move beyond just knowing the news to understanding how each development can ripple through markets, the wider economy, their investments, and beyond. You’ll also help shape Finimize’s social media strategy by creating compelling content and actively engaging with our community. Responsibilities Collaborate with the content team to write Finimize’s daily and weekly financial newsletters. Scan the day’s newsflow and select the stories that matter most. Write stories and related content in the Finimize style and format. Develop and write insightful takeaways that help readers connect the dots. Upload and manage content in systems including Wagtail, Sailthru, and WordPress. Select and curate daily content features such as Graph Of The Day and On Our Radar. Create compelling social media posts and actively engage with our community across different platforms. Requirements Experience analyzing, discussing, and/or writing about financial markets (direct analyst experience or internships is a plus). Familiarity with best practices in social media content management. Strong ability to understand and explain macroeconomic trends and financial concepts. Ability to interpret and explain the performance of individual companies. Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrable writing skills and full professional fluency in English. Willingness to work according to the newsflow (some late nights required) and meet tight deadlines.
